In het weekend van 7 en 8 maart hield Jongeren Milieu Actief een trainingsweekend voor de jongeren ambassadeurs van de campagne Kies voor Klimaat! 9 jongeren tussen de 17 en 26 gaan de komende maanden aan de slag om andere jongeren aan te sporen komende EU verkiezing in juli duurzaam te stemmen.
Zondagochtend gaven we (Mark Kulsdom & Suzanne Hogendoorn) Een drie uur durende camjo workshop waarin de ambassadeurs werden voorbereid op de komende video interviews die ze gaan maken voor de campagne website.

Jongeren Milieu Actief - video activism climate campaign
This coming month the youth department of Milieudefensie starts with their climate campaign. This weekend the youth ambassadors will get training improving they’re interviewing and filming skills. The coming campaign they will be interviewing members of the parliament in Holland and Brussels about their climate policy.
Format 23 contributes to this project by giving the video workshop and editing the youth ambassadors interviews that will be previewed on the campaign website

TO KARACHI
End of March i will go back to Pakistan for a new adventure and filming for my documentary project. I will stay there for 4 weeks visiting Karachi and probably also Lahore and Abbotabad.
This specific trip is made possible by the Mondriaan foundation in the Netherlands. One of the weeks i will be accompanied with Rob van Kranenburg and Usman Haque who come here to exchange ideas with the Mauj collective and other people from Karachi about DIY cities, bricolabs, dorkbots you name it! In these weeks besides shooting i will do a guest workshop on the Karachi University and go with Mauj on a new media workshop and talk to youngsters about filmmaking. An exiting program and a new opportunity to know the people and the country a little bit better.
